I Want To Be Beside The Seaside

I worked for the majority of the day.  I didn't have the chance to seek out something uber-special to shoot.  Luckily, my wife and I were recently at the sea.  We had grabbed a few seashells...one of which was sitting in the same room I was working in.  A quick shot with my macro extender produced this...

So soft and pretty.  

Oh.  It's the last day of national bird-feeding month.

Beaches and Pastures

We took the train to Bangor yesterday.  It's a cute little maritime town with much to do and see.  By which I mean much water-related things to do and much water-related things to see.

Such as...

...morning strolls along the water's edge with both young and old friends

...a marina to tilt-shift, or to just wander around in

...the rocky coast and sea to explore

...and even the ruins of an old fort in which you can survey the coming and going sailboats.

Today, on the other hand, we stayed close to home and went for a walk in some pastures that are just starting to show some signs of Spring.
