 Hopefully that justifies a fence. at night.

Lies!

My brother told me I should check out a certain location and to bring a camera.  The location turned out to be a place that I had been to before.  In fact, I posted about it here ...a graveyard of sorts, for vehicles.  He told me I would be able to find awesome oil tankers just sitting there.  He lied.  There were no tankers.  There were other things of interest, though...

Here is another antique firetruck to add to my collection.  Due to the peeling paint, this one appears to be some camouflaged army vehicle.

  School Is Out
 School is out for the summer.  Though once it starts up again, I don't think this bus will be transporting any children.

Quite The Contrast

So there was some little fair thing going on downtown today.  My wife and I ventured over to find a bunch of people, many in uniform, with booths set up on Main Street.  Apparently it was for honoring veterans, and was called Hometown Heroes.  There was one person on the other side of the street.  He definitely didn't fit the Hometown Heroes mold...

A Guy and His Djembe

Whereas the other side was represented by this guy and his djembe.  He was quick to oblige when I asked him if I could get a photo of him and his contrasting style.

Thunder Clouds

These stormy clouds were making their way into the sky as I was getting home from work today.  I'm yet to hear the booming thunder that I know they are capable of creating, so I suppose by now I'm safe.

Bombs Bursting In Air

 The crazy contrasting lights and darks add a dramatic element to this already intense group of clouds.

Wildflowers

My wife put some pretty wildflowers in a pretty mason jar.  I needed to find something worthy of being photographed.  The events converged and this is the result...

These wildflowers are now tamed flowers.  I love the soft background and the contrasting definition of the petals.
